High Life Highland and Highland News and Media (HNM) have joined forces to offer readers a special offer in August.
As a highlife member people can get 50% off an annual subscription to titles such as the Ross-shire Journal, North Star, John O’Groat Journal, Inverness Courier, Strathspey and Badenoch Herald, and the Northern Times .
The offer, which runs throughout the month, also offers unlimited access to online content and the new app where people can enjoy electronic editions of all 18 newspaper titles, daily updates, access to archives and puzzles.
High Life Highland Managing Director Steve Walsh said: “We are delighted to be working with Highland News and Media to bring another great benefit to our highlife members.
“We provide services to local communities in the Highlands and we know that people who want to keep up to date with the news turn to their local newspaper.
“I hope our members will take advantage of this offer which is part of a wide range of benefits that a highlife member brings, from discounts at your favorite stores to admission to our leisure centres, offering a wide range of ‘health and fitness opportunities.’
Andy Dixon, Editor of HNM, said: “Our business is accelerating in a digital direction and we want to take as many people with us as possible.
“There is a great synergy with HNM and High Life Highland because we serve the same communities.
“We want to inform and entertain people with local content that you simply won’t get anywhere else.
“I believe this partnership will help us reach more people at a time when raising awareness of local news – as well as the impact of larger events on local populations – is so important to all of us.”
The offer starts on Monday and is for an annual Digital+ subscription, giving access to all 18 HNM titles for just £24.99.
