Outside Interactive, Inc., the world’s leading creator of active and healthy lifestyles content, events and experiences, announced the appointment of Dmitri Siegel as Chief Marketing Officer. Siegel’s appointment to this role follows a banner year for the company, in which many milestones were achieved, including the successful launch of Outside+, the ultimate membership for active and healthy lifestyle enthusiasts. which combines all the Outside brands into one bundle and is changing the way people think about media.
With over 10 years of experience leading and modernizing brands, building teams and growing, Siegel will serve as both architect and keeper of the outdoors story. He will lead marketing strategy, guide product launches, build strategic partnerships, and experiment with new tools and techniques to create and share valuable brand stories. He brings to the company a creative background and a passion for quality media, starting as a child when he spent time with his mother in the offices of National Geographic, where she was editor-in-chief.

Siegel joins Outside from sound experience company Sonos, where he served as vice president and general manager of Sonos Radio, and previously vice president of Global Brand. At Sonos, he led all aspects of the company’s music department – including content, marketing and revenue – and worked to launch a brand identity through rigorous design, systems thinking and a focus on the consumer. Prior to Sonos, Siegel held senior creative leadership positions at Patagonia, Urban Outfitters and Sundance Channel.
