The book, which also includes behind-the-scenes anecdotes from previously unseen photographs from Shapiro’s time behind the curtain, intends to give readers a guide to the music industry from a man Trey Anastasio of Phish called one of “the rarest personalities in the music industry”. …full of unbridled enthusiasm and joy, with enormous energy and enormous ideas.
Of note, on August 9, Shapiro and Fricke discussed the new book live and in person in the Rare Book Room on the 3rd floor of New York’s Strand Book Store.
